I’ve got good news for you friends tonight concerning apostolic authority God is raising up to bring us into our inheritance. We’re looking at authority and the two things a want to look at with this – yes we’re looking specifically at the apostle… but when we talk about apostolic authority we talk primarily about

one who is sent, that’s the authority – that he’s been directly sent by the Lord to accomplish a certain task, but also about ministry by the entire body of Christ.

Now Joshua is a type I believe of the 5-fold ministry – the Holy Spirit bringing the saints into their inheritance. The Lord appeared to Joshua and said
“every place the sole of your foot shall tread – I have given it to you – lead the children of Israel to possess that land”

And so the 5-fold ministry is being raised up and been given a commission by almighty God – ‘every place the sole of your foot shall tread – every step of faith, every act of obedience, every prayer of faith, every day, you are going to get victories in your own life, you are going to lead your people into their inheritance.

Now can we pray.. that God will raise up apostles, how do we stand with that as a church? Well if we turn to colossians 4 verse 12 – we’re looking at apostolic authority……
