For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1Corinthians 3:10,11
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 1Corinthians 3:12,13
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1Corinthians 3:14,15
..None of this is going to be accomplished if we don’t love God personally, passionately and with a great devotion – this isn’t going to happen. It doesn’t happen because it’s a good idea, or it sounds good – ‘ this is going to give me eternity, I’m not going to have to go through The Great Tribulation. ‘ ..This happens because of relationship.. because we are so devoted to the Lord.. ‘ Are We Building For Eternity? ‘
This is how He works this through us. This is why we’re to love the Lord with all our heart soul and being.. then God can build – complete and finish. We are to run – to complete this race, too many professing believers start out with good intentions but then lose interest – ‘ it hasn’t turned out how I thought it would ‘ This is where our faith comes in – that God is able to do this whatever it looks like.. We walk by faith and not by sight..
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26
Devoted To Destiny
This is a love that goes beyond our closest relationship or person that we have in our lives. When we understand that we put God first and foremost we will be utterly amazed because God’s love is not like the worlds love.. Peace, blessing to the mind and heart.. the closest person cannot give what God gives. That is what is needed if we are to be those disciples. He goes right to the root.. our commitment to God. Our love needs to be lifted above this world. Our love for God and His love for us lifts us into heavenly places with Christ Jesus. This love is causing us to look away and get ready for.. the rapture.. This building is for eternity, it is this foundation in your life built upon the rock of Jesus Christ.. ..
