“Today I want to exhort again -- in faith, and our title for our teaching today -- ‘Believing The Impossible’. Father we thank you that we are living in impossible situations now. We are seeing the falling away in everything. Standards, morality, lies, hypocrisy, phobias -- you name it. And above all Lord we are seeing hearts becoming cold. There is a deficiency of God’s love and you’ve called us as a remnant to believe. Glorify your name through this Word now in Jesus name.
…. Matthew 19 verse 26
26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27 Then Peter answered and said to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?”
28 So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife[a] or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.
God Doesn’t Make Mistakes
…no one’s really left all -- not really, so ultimately it’s down to the mercy and grace of God. But our meetings, our being here, our listening to this Word is the mercy and grace of God. That’s why I always say it’s not a mistake to those who come into the room to those who go onto the internet to listen to this message live -- because it is a divine appointment, and therefore it can be possible.
And so I’ve called this today ‘ Believing The Impossible ‘ and in the Gospels where something is important we often get an account where something backs it up. They will always back up again things which Jesus is really wanting to get home……”
