.. Believing The Impossible Today! I want to open up with nothing new, but we do need to remind ourselves of these things. Salvation, God, the belief in God, the promises of God, God’s ways – everything about this whole walk from our standpoint is impossible.
God has made no mistake with regard to that. To believe in God, to embrace the promises of God, to be committed to God, to be a disciple of the Lord is impossible.
God has purposed in mans flesh and mans intellect that it is impossible. So it’s no shock, it’s actually no revelation really. We know it because that’s how the world is living and walking and acting.
The world is still in the first Adam who failed God’s standard. But it is possible to those who are a new creation in Christ. Therefore it is possible and that is the difference..
Choosing The Impossible
We can choose believing the impossible today or the possible. We have a choice. To say ‘this is impossible’ or ‘it’s difficult to believe’ – well it is. There’s nothing new about that – God has purposed it to be.
..God said ‘narrow is the way and few there be that find it’ because it costs to believe. You say to me ‘what is the cost?’. Your life.
The cost is that you present yourself on that living alter (Romans 12:1,2) as a living sacrifice. So that alter – God’s alter – is alive, it’s well and it’s got saints who’ve given their lives and presented themselves upon that alter. It’s not dead – it’s alive, and God is accepting those sacrifices. And what is a sacrifice? It is our heart.
‘My heart belongs to you. It is your’s, it isn’t mine any more. You paid the greatest price – the greatest gift ever given in the world to man. I can only give back to you my heart.’
And that is all the Lord ever wants, that’s what He died for. That was worth going to the cross – that you could give back your heart to Him on the alter. Profound isn’t it? That’s what pleases Him more than anything else.
And yet don’t we struggle at times even with that? Yet in His grace His mercy He comes baptising us in the Holy Spirit – empowering us to help us in these very weaknesses. And we meet them and they’re there. I bet some of you have battled them this very week – I know I have.
God Makes It Possible
And yet here we are by the grace and mercy of God – believing the impossible because He’s making it possible.”
..God knows that we won’t believe if it’s not in the heart. He doesn’t want robots – he doesn’t want religious people. I’m sorry but religious people are in denial with what is really in their hearts. That is where the enemy uses it – he’s got them to believe a lie..
..That is what it means to be a Christian – to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. It’s not just giving that lip service.. And one day when you find there’s a trial or there’s just that step of faith that’s required (and they’re there – don’t ask me how it works – it just is there) you just do it. ‘look it’s happened like naturally breathing!’
That is how we’re to walk with God. Jesus didn’t think when He was facing situations of casting out a demon ‘well do you think this is going to happen today? Do you think it’s going to work today of not?’ He didn’t think like that. .. nothing could separate Him from His Father. He knew what His calling was and that He was to fulfill His ministry.
Fulfilling Our Ministry
And that is the same with you and me, and all our ministries are diverse in whatever way they are. But you have been predestined before the foundation of the earth to fulfill your ministry. And if you are not fulfilling your ministry there is something wrong. And you can go right back and it’s your relationship with God.
It’s not rocket science, we each of us have been given ministries and we are too fulfill it. Why am I stressing that – because that’s part of you expressing your faith walk…
..Part of your experiencing the impossible with God is connected with your calling and your ministry. And that’s why some of us are down and depressed because it’s not working. It’s not working because I’m not fulfilling what God has called me to do.
Jesus fulfilled His calling .. and it’s the same in these last days with the church. If F.G.A is to move forward in these last days we have to fulfill what He has given us and boy He has give us allot in this assembly. And isn’t He expecting returns.
You say to me ‘well my situation is impossible’. Of course it is – there would be something wrong if it isn’t impossible.. that’s why when you take that first step then the Lord is there. And you know this cannot happen in the natural.
Touched By The Supernatural
Some of you bless your heart you need that touch in your lives. Your desperate for the supernatural. It’s become a drudge, it’s become a burden. God is saying ‘enough, come on, rise up. I won’t forsake you, I won’t leave you, I am with you. Of course it’s impossible, I’ve made it impossible for you to be able to take that step of faith. It’s so that I can show my power in weakness.’
That’s how He does it. . Jesus has made it possible for us to believe, and that is why He challenges us. That is why it’s Romans 12:1-2. He is going to make you desperate if you want to continue in this walk…
.. Now saints is the time to rise up and start to move with your heavenly Father. Stop resisting Him, stop questioning Him..

The Cost Of Discipleship
Romans 12:1,2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
A true Jesus disciple will respond to the challenge to believe the impossible today. The very circumstances faced which are impossible in the natural throw him/her onto the possibility of God.
Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
