The Book Of Ephesians #2 Chosen In Him

Chosen In Him. Ephesians 1:4 King James Version (KJV) 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Chosen In Him; Corinth,Temple of Apollo

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Chosen In Him

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

 We were looking at what it was to be an overcomer. The blessings in Christ – an expression of heaven on earth. The Body Of Christ is an expression of theocracy, the people do not rule – Jesus is head of the church. We were looking at spiritual blessings – what He’s given us as Overcomers.

.. You and I are saved this evening because God chose us and the scriptures are an outworking of predestination. If you want to understand the bible, understand predestination. God is sovereign, He does not depend on what man is going to do. … …

John 15:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
