” Today our Word is going to be ‘ There Is Comfort With The Coming Of The Lord ‘. All that we’re going through – we’re experiencing is about this actually. The Lord Jesus is coming soon and He’s coming to take us home, He’s coming to take His possession – His bride as she makes herself ready. This should be of great comfort and help and excitement to us.

Let’s turn to 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 which speaks so much about this and I want to emphasise verses 12 to 18. We need to remember in our
thinking that this epistle was written to the Thessalonians who were facing persecution, who had seen many going before them, many ‘sleeping in the Lord’. …. and now 2000 years later this same epistle is to bring comfort to us.
12 that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.
The Comfort of Christ’s Coming
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.a]
That is what I believe the Lord at present is doing in this assembly. There is a season in how God works. He is really showing us much about the bride, the manchild. This helps us to understand why God is preparing us in order for this …
….This is something that must be experienced, it cannot be simply a teaching or mental exercise … this is something that we relate to ….. You can only release faith if that Word that you hear has your name and address on it – it is affecting you – it is your life – experience – it is about you …… ……. ……. “
