Disciples Will Avoid Being Impulsive | Every Day With Jesus | Vid

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude 1:20,21
Pastor Kim L. Page

..Because He wants us reliable.. resolute. He wants us to stand and endure to the end. To do that He has to remove all those hindrances – the ‘flesh’ within our lives. Impulsive zealous Christians have brought more damage into the Church than anything else. And this is why we need the grace of God to live twenty four seven going through every day routine. That’s what it is at times, we get up and we go through the same routine until we begin to learn to meet with the Lord in that routine. And that we walk with Him in fellowship and He’s actually there in that mundane routine. ‘ Disciples Will Avoid Being Impulsive. ‘

Be Like Jesus – Serve

And that routine is often being unnoticed.. I know what it’s like to be a doormat, but that is where Jesus is because He’s teaching us to serve. A servant is one that is not noticed very often – in the background.. doing what God wants them to do. To a person that’s impulsive that’s hard, that’s difficult and there’s a lot of pride that God has to deal with. This is why Jesus gave an example of washing the disciples feet. He was revealing that He was a servant – to serve. That was the example He was showing the disciples.

When the Holy Spirit comes baptising us – to lead guide and teach us – He comes also to teach us to serve, Hallelujah. Someone said this as I wrap this up:

“We think we have to do exceptional things for God. We don’t, we do exceptional things in everyday life activities.”

Every Day With Jesus

That is our training ground brothers and sisters. And when we get that right then God can move us to the next thing.. And we can be part of those labourers who God uses to share the Good News of The Gospel, because you have so been trained – so walked with Jesus that the people will see it and they will know that you have been with Him.. .. ..
