Do We Really Understand Jesus ?
Pastor Kim

.. So the question we’ve been talking about today is ‘ Do We Really Understand Jesus – the Messiah ? ‘ If we really do and we have really drawn of this water.. we will never thirst any more – unlike natural water. There is something that happens to you just like this Samaritan woman. She went and shared ‘ Messiah has come. ‘ She couldn’t help but talk about it – and that is exactly the same with us. When you are touched, when you are drinking of this water you cannot help but go and share and talk about it. That’s why God gives us a ministry.. He sends us. That’s why we can seek these opportunities when they come up like this – [Jesus mastered the scene – ‘ the woman at the well ‘] – that The Lord would give us the words in which to turn it and so God can use it..

He that believeth on me.. out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (John 7:38)

.. Then you’ll find that the people start to raise and ask questions just like this woman did. You’ll find that The Spirit will give you the answers. It’s not difficult this, we make it difficult because we’re not drawing of this water. This water does not come from the earth, it comes from above. So do we really understand Jesus ? We will understand if we are truly drawing this water from Him where we will thirst no more. It’s whether we want Him to possess us – to lead us, to guide us..

Wells Of Salvation

.. The world out there is very strong, the spirit of this age is very strong. We are seeing now the great falling away, who wants to be part of that? But we like to still have one foot in the world and one in heaven. That is human nature but God will not do that. You’re either in the world or you’re in the Kingdom of God, that is how He’s done it. He knows, He has wisdom, He makes no mistake. We have to understand, we have to know and experience – where am I drawing this water ? That’s the question. If you are drawing it from above you will never thirst any more.. .. ..

John 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
