Genesis 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. 26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.
Genesis 5:18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch: 19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died. 21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: 22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
It’s about walking with God
.. That’s why psychiatry cannot understand this. And we’ve all tried to do it, we’ve all tried to intellectually work it out but we’re no nearer to understanding are we? And do you know why – it’s about walking with God, that is what we should be interested and consumed in. Everything else is secondary. When I wake up in the morning I wake up to walk with God so that I merge and become one with Him. That is what you live for.. what you are being trained for. That is what makes you an overcomer.. everything else will flow as a result because it’s Christ in you the hope of glory..
The Supernatural Meat Of The Word
.. When you walk with Him in that way you have a new vision. You have a new purpose because your walk is supernatural. You will walk and you will walk.. with God until you know longer will walk because you will find yourself in heaven walking with Jesus. Let Him do that work brothers and sisters.. because I’ve tried everything and it’s failed. I’ve tried to study theology but of course God is merciful. He knows that we are children and we have to start with that milk. But we progress to the meat of The Word and when you go over to the meat of The Word it’s quite quite different.
Walking Out Of This World
So we see our heavenly Father – He knows how to nurture and look after us. He knows how to feed.. protect.. preserve us because we are His family – His sons and daughters. This maturing and growing up now is for the purpose that we no longer walk this world.. but we walk in eternity because we are merging and becoming one with Him. Enoch experienced that so we will as well by His grace and mercy.
Taste And See That The Lord Is Good
Heavenly Father we thank you for encouraging and exhorting us today. Thank you Lord that we are on the right path. We know the enemy doesn’t like this and he tries to trick us. He tries to get our eyes away from walking and moving with God but Lord we’ve heard it – we’ve tasted it, and we know that it is good.. ..
John 3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
