Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; 2Corinthians 9:10
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Philipians 2:12,13
..You see you work it out and as you work it out what happens God works in you to will and do for His good pleasure. We need to understand in the Christian walk we always meet God half way. God isn’t just going to wave a magic wand and it will happen and this is where a lot of Christians go wrong. This is why we have taught you faith over the years. Faith takes that step of faith so that you begin to experience and understand. Then God begins to take over. In other words He’s met you half way in your step of faith and you begin to experience that God starts to work in you to will and do for His good pleasure. ‘ God Provides The Seed. ‘
Our Whole Life An Offering
He’s the source, He’s the life – He gives the seed, but what do we do with that seed? We sow it in order to give it back to God as an offering.. what pleases Him in other words. And as you take these steps of faith you begin to realise He works within you. He gives you the ability – the power in which to offer back that worship and praise.. We are spiritual sowers.. spiritual farmers.. our whole life is an offering to God.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1,2
The Fruit Of Worship
When we place ourselves upon that alter as an offering it’s all about worship.. offering back. So you have been saved, your sins have been forgiven – they’ve been cast away as far as the east is to the west. Now you offer back worship – you praise Him. And how do you do it – by offering your life your heart – placing it upon the alter. That is the way we give back worship – offering, giving to God. But He gives the power to give – He gives that seed.. And that seed is able to multiply. We need to understand and experience this brothers and sisters else we’re going to miss out what the Deeper Life is about and what God is fundamentally doing with us and as a church.. .. ..

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
