God’s Love Never Fails
If any one needs encouraging this morning I’ve got some good news for you – ‘God’s love
never fails’. If we look at the monumental failures of the saints even of great stature God somehow brings them through and He still glorifies His name. His will His Kingdom His
purposes cannot be thwarted by our failure if we bow the knee, acknowledge the failure and continue to walk in His presence, if we stay with it. That is why God’s love never fails, if we endure His love will continue to preserve us.
Man as in humanity was created to love and be loved, we are vessels of the Father’s love to receive and radiate. But sin wrought a tragedy, it separated that wonderful relationship, and so now everything God has put in His Word has become perverted.
Adam and Eve were created with a completely free will but when they fell into sin they plunged the whole human race into captivity. We have not got a free will but it is a will that is being set free – it’s in a process of being set free. We have choices we have actions – a freedom to choose. We are as free as we need to be, but according to John 8 Jesus said that he who commits sin is a slave of sin, so there are areas we are still held captive in our will. As the fruit of God’s love continues to mature in us the will to sin dies.
Old things are passed away, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17), but the problem is there are aspects of our personality we still like so old things havn’t passed away yet in our experience. In these things we have a choice between love of self and love of God ….
