He Gives Power To The Weak | Video

Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard,
that the everlasting God, the Lord,
the Creator of the ends of the earth,
fainteth not, neither is weary?
there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.
Matthew 26:40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Defy The Flesh And Pray

He Gives Power To The Weak
Pastor Kim

.. You have to sometimes just defy the flesh – the weakness – and just pray. Just get into communication with God because that is where we learn the power of God. And we all know this one.. so we find that even with our prayer life in weakness we are made strong. He was trying to show the disciples here a principle. ‘ just pray, I know you feel tired. ‘ I know what it’s like sometimes to pray or be in a prayer meeting and O gosh you’re battling tiredness. You just defy it. sometimes I had to physically just get up and walk around the room.. because the flesh is trying to take over and we know that the enemy tries to use it. But we’re learning you see what tries to hinder us. ‘ He Gives Power To The Weak. ‘

Learning Through Weakness

How is this all achieved? It’s through weakness that we’re made strong. And if it’s your hearts desire to pray, to pray without ceasing, to be in communion with God even when you’re driving the car or walking down the street or whatever it is – God will work that. This is what he wanted to teach the disciples and Peter, and we all know what happened.. because they didn’t pray the hour he asked them to. They fell into temptation. But you see God’s teaching them something all the time like He’s teaching us. And we do fall, we do make mistakes, but God in His mercy and grace – He has a way of bringing us up again – encouraging us.. Sometimes He show us where we’ve made mistakes so that we can get it right. That’s the mercy and love of God is it not? ..

Keep Awake – Keep Walking!

But we have to keep awake and that doesn’t just include prayer, but when we hear the Word of God we must be diligent about it, diligent about our daily walk with God. When we wake up – ‘ this is the day I walk with God. ‘ And God will make you diligent, He’ll keep you awake, He’ll keep you discerning. He’ll use you – you’ll be ready at any time any moment and so on. That’s what it means to walk with Almighty God, but you walk with Him in weakness. Sometimes we’re weak we’re down .. weary, we’ve had a bad weak or we’ve been off colour but He says ‘ He gives power to the weak. ‘ The apostle Paul saw that for his ministry. And that I believe is what God is revealing to FGA and to all those who hear this teaching around the world.. .. ..

Exodus 9:15 For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth. 16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth. 17 As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?
1 Corinthians 1:27 but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Corinthians 9:19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. 20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; 21 to them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. 22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Hebrews 11:33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Isaiah 42:8 I am the Lord: that is my name:
and my glory will I not give to another,
neither my praise to graven images.
