He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 14:21
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? John 14:22
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. John 14:23
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. John 14:24
These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. John 14:25
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26
..So there’s your experience – in other words He’s going to bring the experience to you. He’s going to cause you to remember. He’s going to make the Word of God alive – as He is alive. It is not a dead letter it’s alive – living and all powerful. It is that sharp two edged sword.. ‘ He Gives Us Life To Overcome. ‘
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
..So everything that He does – the way He reveals Himself – He always does it as the Prince of Peace. He leaves His peace – His blessing – His mark in other words. Not that the world can give you any of this. So don’t let your hearts be troubled. Let God deliver you from fear and anxiety and that unbelief – so that your heart will not be troubled. That you will enter into this peace – this rest that He has for us. And He does it through the overcoming life. He does it in our tribulations and our trials..
The Holy Spirit Is Jesus In Your Life
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 14:27
..So the helper of course is the Holy Spirit. ‘ I will send HIM to you – Jesus. The Holy Spirit represents Him in your life, in your heart, in your mind, in your walk, in your confession, in your speach, everything. That is what is means to be born again. There are a lot who profess Christ who are not born again. This is what is means to be born again.
You are a new creation – completely different. You don’t live and walk and act any more like the world. You’re not bound by the world – it’s traditions and bondages. You’re just sojourners passing through. You don’t fit in anywhere if you are an overcomer. In other words you’re not putting your roots down anywhere. You’re not building a life in this world and planning and scheming. This is what Jesus said they would be doing when He comes.
That is not what an overcomer does. Because we allow the Spirit to do that work within us. And that is why He allows us to go through these trials and tribulations in which to deliver us so that we can experience this overcoming life and walk. So is this your experience ? That’s the question.
Do I live by the power of that life that is given to me?
