How God Gets Our Attention | Seeking First The Kingdom | Video

Pastor Kim

..I’ve just read a report, and yes sadly this is going on. Some Christian churches particularly in Ireland have continued to fellowship with this lockdown. Police have gone in and tried to warn them and stop the meetings.. They believe it there right to fellowship because they submit to a higher power.. But they were praying for those who were persecuting them – praying God’s mercy. ‘ How God Gets Our Attention. ‘

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. Matthew 5:43
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Matthew 5:44
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? Matthew 5:46
Matthew 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Put To The Test

Some of the pastors and churches are going to face big fines. That’s challenged me as a believer because that may well happen to us with these bizarre things going on.. How they can pass laws so quickly now that are not even debated in parliament. All of this that’s happening is quite alarming. But this shouldn’t take us by surprise. These are the things that are coming up now as the Antichrist is beginning to get that hold. We’re going to be put to the test – what is in our heart. What is our attitude?

How God Gets Our Attention

A Right Heart And Attitude

This is our sonship when we start to understand that God sends rain upon the just and the unjust. You see God will allow evil at times to prosper for a season to see if we have a right heart and attitude. Or do we want vengeance on our enemy – do we want to see them suffer? Do we want to see them fall into the hands of an angry God. We can still harbor those attitudes and we have to be really careful with this.

And this is why God I believe will allow even the unjust to receive blessing for a season – because it’s to challenge the Church. It’s to challenge God’s people and to find out what our heart and attitude is. God does this and He can do it because He’s sovereign you see.

We Should Be Prospering As Believers

This will be a big problem if we’re not as believers prospering ourselves – all our needs being met as you put first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. That should be happening in the life of a believer. If our enemies are prospering and we’re not then something is very wrong with our walk and with our consecration. God will use that to get our attention – to find out what is going wrong. And very often it’s your commitment to Christ, or the sin that you’re not dealing with that’s separating you from the love of God.

We’re entering a time where we’re not going to prosper outwardly as we used to. Things are rapidly going to change and be different. So how much more are we dependent then on God blessing us – meeting those needs and paying those bills? Which He says He will do – if we put The Kingdom First.
