Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. Acts 14:22
God Wants Sons
.. He will reveal to you in that time and way, the problem is we can’t wait. You see God has a right time for those questions you are asking Him in which to reveal to you when you are ready. When you go to ‘ the arm of the flesh ‘ – they don’t know whether you’re ready or not. So we have to be balanced in those areas. It’s not to say that you can’t ask questions, of course it’s not.. We have to be sensitive to these things because ultimately God wants to minster to you and to me. He wants to speak to you.. to use you.. to give you revelation – illumination in His Word. That is ultimately what you’re saved for.. That is what Sonship is about. ‘ How Long Will You Falter Between Two Opinions ? ‘
Sons Know Their Destiny
Sonship is where saints settle it with God and are not caught up in two opinions. They know their calling, they know what they are destined for. They see ahead.. have a revelation of the overall calling and also the calling on their life. All the ministers do in their preaching and teaching is simply confirming it to you. The same as Elijah was called at that time because Israel lost it’s discernment. It was faltering, it was going to follow baalism – witchcraft – and God had to intervene there. The same as God has to intervene in our lives sometimes personally because we’re persuing and following the wrong thing.
Who Ultimately Will You Follow ?
The Word of God says ‘ if it were possible even the very elect could be deceived.’ In other words they are going to be attacked. Why am I emphasising this – because there’s going to be and Antichrist that is going to be visibly seen and he’s going to be very convincing. Sadly many professing believers will follow him and be convinced by his words actions and appearance.. This is what God is going to do with the world. He’s going to challenge the world before it’s judged – ‘ who are you going to follow, you are of two opinions. ‘ In many ways the state of the church is like this today.. ..
