The Power Of That Name
..The lame man that was raised up – those 5000 that converted because the saw something. They saw the power of that name. They saw that that name ‘ is alive today. ‘ A lot of them had heard about the crucifixion, I’m sure a lot had heard the rumours – ‘ he’s supposed to have risen from the dead. ‘ Of course they tried to fake all of that didn’t they by paying them off to lie. Nothing’s changed today has it – still goes on. But look at the power of resurrection.. They were now seeing, they were confronted – look what that name has done! That has to be restored in these last days and you and I are part of that. ‘ Jesus Is The Same Today As Yesterday. ‘
Equipped For Ministry
I’m not talking about this being done through the Pastor or some sister.. Whoever hears this Word and those of you online, this is what God is going to restore through you. You rise up – you do it, don’t look to anyone else. This is what Body Ministry is about. The 5-fold ministry is there to equip you for what – your ministry it says in Ephesians 4. It’s for the equiping of the saints so that the Body functions..
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Mark 16:15-20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:12-14
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:23-24
Truly Truly!
.. He says ‘ verily verily – you’ve heard right – you’ve asked nothing in my name. ‘ Some of you are asking ‘ do you mean I’ve got authority to cast a demon out? ‘ You most certainly have. ‘ I’ve got authority to speak to the sick person? ‘ I’ve got authority to say ” rise up and walk? ” ‘ You most certainly have. That’s what He’s saying.
God Will Empower
The days of hiding brothers and sisters is going. We can’t hide behind this any more, not with what we’ve been given. And I can tell you yes it speaks to me – it really does. But there’s something I think God is going to do.. going to be merciful. I do believe God is going to provide, He’s going to empower for the situation and the circumstances that we find ourselves in. Why because He’s the same yesterday today and forever and He changes not.. ..
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philipians 2:9-11
