Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Ephesians 6:18-20
..Our spiritual warfare is for the Lord of the Harvest – for souls to be saved. This is primarily what we do – we war against the Powers of Darkness for the very purpose that souls will come into the Kingdom of God. That must always be the focal point of our spiritual warfare.. That eyes will be opened that they see the Lord Jesus Christ, that they will see that sin separates them from the love of God. If you do not have that in you heart in spiritual warfare it ain’t going to work, whatever we’re praying against. What is the point of exposing the Powers of Darkness.. unless souls are saved? ‘ Lord Of The Harvest. ‘
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:35-38
Compassionate Prayer
..How about when a trial comes into your life or your family. Are you praying for labourers to be sent to them to heal them? .. you praying for your family – your daughter your son.. aunt uncle, those who are sick? Are you praying that God will send a labourer – anointed – to them that they will hear the Gospel and repent..? Are you praying that? I don’t think we are. And yet Jesus is Lord of The Harvest! Or Lord use me? We have to be moved by God’s love – His mercy His grace.. We have to feel His heart. We have to be attuned with Him else it ain’t going to work. It’s looking out there the same as Jesus did. He looked and He saw that they were like sheep scattered but no shepherd..
‘ The Harvest Truly Is Plenteous ‘
..He turns to His church – his disciples.. We have to be brought back to what Jesus says here. If He said it to the disciples He says it to us.. to FGA, and His Word doesn’t change. Now how He does that – well He’s Lord of the harvest! And that is why you have to pray in faith – believing the Lord of the Harvest. You walk amongst them and they are ready to be picked. They’re ripe, it’s just that our eyes and our hearts are still not open and sensitive enough. ‘ Here am I Lord, use me ‘ .. .. ..
