For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Galatians 5:13,14
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. John 13:34,35
..It’s about serving, it’s sacrificial. That is the heart and nature that should be found in The House Of God. We’re calling this ‘ Love In The House Of God. ‘ Jesus clearly displayed this amongst His disciples and so of course they were greatly influenced by this. When they received the Holy Spirit in the Upper Room at Pentecost they were able to take those experiences that they had seen with Christ. He quickened all of that through the power of the Holy Spirit. They were able to transmit that into the House of God – into the Body of Christ where they could be affected by it as well. That’s what love does, love affects – it’s a spiritual virus and praise God for it.. It is the true love of God, and love makes us His disciples, and there’s the difference.
Christ The Love Between Us
But it has also to be experienced in the House of God. If we don’t experience the love of God in the House of God we’re never going to experience it outside. So often we’re looking for a substitute for God’s love, for fellowship. Your not going to get it with your friends.. with the world.. your family, as much as we love them. This is a love not of the world. This can only be found and experienced in The House of God and amongst believers who love the Lord Jesus with all their heart soul mind and being. So we’re to experience this then in The House of God if ever we’re to love outside..
..By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
..Unless we get it right between each other we’re never going to get it right in the world. And God I believe is restoring this.. The way this is restored is that we are willing to surrender. We surrender the independent life.. through the cross that we too are to take up daily and follow. That cross will deal with anything that tries to hinder the love that is found in The House of God.. ..
Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; 1Timothy 1:5,6
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1Peter 4:8
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
