..Lovely people – make you welcome, but they have no understanding of what prayer is about. They have no understanding of the power of the Gospel. They’re still babes on milk. They’re stunted – in knots, fettered. And my heart was so burdened when I left that meeting because of the potential that is there. But I thought ‘ I know what to do – I get into prayer, intercession. That’s why God had me there. And it grieves one when there is so much that we can enter into in the Deeper Life, but it seems they only go so far.. because the problem is fear and unbelief. God is still dealing with you and I on that. We’re still a work in progress – undoing all those knots.. ‘ Man Is Tying Himself In Knots. ‘
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5
A Threshold Experience
A ministry.. it is hopeless if it does not have Christ – the power of the Gospel.. our salvation – the power that helps keeps and enables us to go on. This is why – they’re rejecting the Holy Spirit. Put off by the Pentecostal movement.. they threw the baby out with the bathwater.. The baptism in the Spirit is the doorway to a deeper walk with God.. a threshold, a start.. they thought they had arrived. The enemy deceived because they did not truly preach the Gospel.
Fear and confusion without Jesus
Our Deeper Life experience is so that God can undo all these knots and entanglements of the enemy. Jesus said ‘ without me it won’t last – it won’t be blessed.. causes confusion and damage and takes you further away from the Lord. The end is fear confusion and lies. And what is that all about – entanglement, those knots.. ..
