And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 11:19-21
One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. John 1:40-42
..New areas of our hearts need to be written upon with the Blood of The Lamb whose name is Jesus. And as I’ve said – some have these new areas but they only go so far. Now it’s interesting that the Lord gave me a vision with regard to this teaching. I don’t often get this but as I was preparing this I suddenly saw in The House of God, in a building people moving around. These people were moving around disabled. Some were walking around with zimmer frames, some with crutches and some in wheelchairs being pushed.. ‘New Areas To Be Written On Our Hearts. ‘
A Change Of Heart
God said to me in my heart: ‘ these are professing believers who don’t want to go deeper with me. They don’t want to have their hearts changed. They don’t want a new name inscribed in their hearts. They’re quite content with where they go.. with their sermonettes.. being entertained. ‘ And there is the deception. God was not going to have that with Cephas. He said ‘ no I’m going to change your name.. to ‘ stone. ‘ You will stand upon that rock, the rock of Jesus Christ where it cannot be moved. ‘
A New Heart – A New Name
But to stand upon that rock means we have to be changed. We have to allow God to work upon these hearts – circumcising these hearts, dealing with that pride that resists God. When He tries to home in to these areas we rise up and make excuses.. over the Word of God.. we use selective hearing. We hear only those things we want to hear and turn of where it’s dealing with me.. You could be doing it today right now unless the mercy of God opens our eyes and hearts to this. The only way is when He inscribes upon and changes those areas of our hearts and writes a new name upon that heart.. ..
