Our Preaching And Affirmation Of The Gospel Is Not Empty Words

Our Preaching And Affirmation Of The Gospel Is Not Empty Words
1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 and if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 and if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Resurrection Into Eternity

Our Preaching And Affirmation Of The Gospel Is Not Empty Words

.. Faith walks and eventually walks out of this life into eternity because it’s about the resurrection that Christ achieved for us at the cross. And that is the reason why we preach the Good News of The Gospel. It’s about eternal life. It’s all about resurrection – what we are walking toward each day. We are today closer than we were yesterday to resurrection which is the eternal promise that Christ has provided for us at the cross. This is why I’m calling our teaching today ‘ Our Preaching And Affirmation Of The Gospel Is Not Empty Words ‘- far from it..

The Message Of The Cross

.. This is why we have to go to The Cross because at the cross everything was achieved there. Sinners have to hear the message of The Cross. Too often the enemy tries to get us side tracked where we start to speak a lot of empty words – worthless words. When you come back to The Cross – it’s message – then God empowers it. And this is why we’re not always seeing true converts in the Christian Church today..

The Power Of The Cross

.. We must never lose sight of the power of The Cross – The Gospel, it’s our spiritual sword. And so when we’re called upon to share why we’re believers this is what we aim for – the cross of Jesus Christ, then God will anoint it. He only has the power to draw men and women to Himself..

Seed Sown In The Heart

.. It’s not just for a preacher – I have to totally depend on that but it’s also the principal for us as well. This is why we stay with The Deeper Life because this is what it is all about. It’s God’s Spirit shining in my heart, it has to be in the heart that the seed is sown..

The Entrance Of Thy Words Giveth Light;.. Psalm 119:130

.. When someone gets to God it’s by the most simple way. Do you know what that way is? Words. God knows how to get to us – how to get into the inner man – the heart. It’s by words. God spoke to Adam and Eve in The Garden when He created them. The Word of God is God’s words to us. The preaching of The Gospel under the anointing is God’s words to us.. .. ..

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
2 Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 and how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God… ..
