Outside The City | ‘ Come Out From Among Them ‘ | Video

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Hebrews 13:12
Pastor Kim

..Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. And here it is – that’s why I’m calling this ‘ Outside The City ‘ because we likewise are rejected. We are to the world as scum. They don’t want us – they don’t want to hear The Good News of the Gospel. And as they rejected Jesus they will reject you also. So we identify with Him as it says in verse thirteen..

Outside The City
Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. Hebrews 13:13
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. Hebrews 13:14

Separated Unto Holiness

..So we shouldn’t be surprised if we are rejected – we are not wanted. But you see God has a plan in there because He says at the moment the Holy City that should be holy is not holy. That is why I started with 2Corinthians 6:17

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 2Corinthians 6:17
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2Corinthians 6:18

What should be clean sadly is not. Even many professing Christians in a lot of churches where it should be a holy place for God’s people but sadly it is not. God opened my eyes to that years back when I was in the denomination and He began to show me ‘come out from it. It’s not clean – it’s not what it appears to be – I have something far better and greater for you.’ That’s why God has to remove us from these bondages.

House Of Prayer

Jesus revealed that the temple was not clean because He cast out the money lenders and called them a den of thieves and robbers. He said ‘my house is a House of Prayer.. but you’ve made it a den of robbers and thieves.’ So Jesus knew exactly what was going on – He knew it was not clean at all, and yet the Pharisees were so blinded to it.

The question is – has it changed today? No it hasn’t – nothing is new under the sun. The way the enemy works and deceives is still the same – nothing changes. It’s interesting when Jesus went and had time with His Father or He went to pray all the night – it says He went outside the city. He couldn’t pray in the city – He had to get away from it to be set apart unto His Father.

And we have to do likewise. So when we go into our closet and we meet with the Lord we have to get away.. We’re getting away from things which distract us – the things that are not clean and try to rob our time.. We have to be hard on this to get away where we can meet with our Father in prayer and communication. Jesus did the same and we have to do the same as well. The temple was no longer a holy place.. ..
