Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:20
.. And you see when this rejoicing takes place because our names are written in heaven then we can start to understand that out of our inner most beings flow these rivers of living water..
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38
The Power Of Salvation
.. you don’t have to work at it if your heart and standing is right with God in relationship, those rivers of living water just flow through us out into this parched and barren world. That is the power of salvation, that is the miraculous work that God has wrought in my life and your life. You don’t have to strive and work at it – it will do it. Water as we know will go through the smallest crevices and cracks. It gets in places that no other element can get into. That’s why He refers to water.
Heavenly Blessing – Not Of Us
We know that out of these rivers of water flowing from us – many many times that’s the mercy and grace of God touching peoples lives – but He doesn’t let you know it. God hides a lot from you and me with regard to being a blessing – reaching and touching people. Many times He doesn’t let you see that. Why? Because of Luke 10:20. You will start to take the glory, you will start to boast in it and get proud. That’s why He says out of us will flow these rivers of living water and much of the time we don’t always know..
.. Sometimes we get a glimpse of it after a time or somebody will say to you:
‘ you said something to me a year ago or you helped me out. That was such a blessing you have no idea that that came at the right time ‘
Now God withheld that for a reason. Sometimes He does show us but many many times He doesn’t because we will get puffed up otherwise and we will not fully appreciate that our names are first written in heaven.. ..
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. John 1:7
