I’m opening with this because the title today – ‘ Simplified Lives For Christ ‘ – is very applicable. We are today experiencing the Great Apostacy or Falling Away – it is a global epidemic. One of the reasons why this is happening in the House of God sadly (and FGA is not exempt) is that we fight against the Holy Spirit who is trying to simplify our lives.. ..
1Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
That is a warning to us as believers and to the comtemporary church of our day. It’s meaning here that a persons conscience or conviction can be desensitised through continual exposure to evil. Not obeying God, moving out of the boundaries that God shows us. Discerning what is right and wrong becomes numbed. We all of us have to be on our guard with this.
