Biblical Faith
.. I am so aware that very little true biblical faith is actually taught these days. That is a faith that we are to live and stand by. A faith that deals with the whole man in mind body and spirit. There is faith that is taught today about going out on the mission field or that God will provide for that journey, but there is not a full message of faith that is taught for the whole man in mind body and spirit. It Is A Walk
..It is what God gave us in the beginning in restoring us back through the baptism of The Holy Spirit – the empowerment of The Spirit – to bring us back so that we can walk independently of man totally trusting God and His promises in His Word. But we know that it is a walk and that walk requires.. commitment, walking with The Lord in faithfulness and obedience. And we know that God in His grace and love and mercy has been working with us over these years so that we can walk this walk of faith in these last days. We’re calling this ‘ Substance And Evidence Of Faith ‘ and basing this from Hebrews eleven and verse one.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
It’s Not What It Seems
.. This is part four of these teachings and we’re now looking at the part where you act your faith. And we know that sorts out the men from the boys. The thought of acting our faith to some is a blessing – ‘ praise the Lord ‘ and to others it’s quite frightening. But it is not what it seems. The enemy would like to suggest of course that ‘ well you have all these promises, you’ve tried to believe, you’ve gone out and acted your faith and you’ve landed flat on your face and it was nothing but disaster. ‘ Maybe that was our experience or maybe that has happened to us, but a man or woman of faith gets up dusts themselves down and carries on in The Walk. Do you know why? Because our God is merciful and gracious .. .. ..
Mark 2:1 And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
2 And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
John 9:1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
