Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

..We can so easily be in denial. But God is working with us in that. He won’t let us do that because we’re simply deceiving ourselves – believing our own dreams and aspirations and what we want. You see God won’t let that happen, He brings that down – He destroys that in our mind and thinking. We have to face the giants like the Children of Israel. Face that Promised Land – they are there but we are well able to take the land. It is a good land – a land that is promised and given to us because God has said it. Do you see the analogy there? It’s the same, nothing changes. ‘ Take Care Of Your Confession In Trials. ‘

Take Care Of Your Confession In Trials
Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Possessing The Land

And those giants – which are the trials, the areas of our life – are trying to defy us entering in. That’s why we press in beyond the veil into the Holy of Holies. That’s why the Sons of God are being prepared – the Manchild is soon to be birthed because the Land is to be possessed. It’s not been possessed fully yet. The Children of Israel failed, even under Joshua they didn’t take all of the Land. The Church has not taken all of the Land, it’s fallen into idolatry and unbelief. But in this last time of restoration the Church will rise up and finish that work that God intended to be done. To take the Land back because it does not belong to the enemy – it belongs to God’s people..

The Overcomers Confession

..It is time to rise up and tell the Powers of Darkness ‘ enough is enough. ‘ We will confess like Joshua and Caleb ‘ We are well able to take the Land – the giants. ‘ Giants will always be there, they will always oppose you. There will always be those mountains – no sooner you get over one mountain there’s another. But God wants us to confess what His Word says. ‘ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ‘ There’s the key – He’s the one who strengthens me. In other words He empowers – He enables us to believe – confess and not believe the lies of the enemy. That is what He’s teaching us as overcomers.. ..

Numbers 13:25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.
And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land. Numbers 13:26
And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Numbers 13:27
Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. Numbers 13:28
The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan. Numbers 13:29
And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. Numbers 13:30
But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. Numbers 13:31
And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. Numbers 13:32
And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. Numbers 13:33
And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. Numbers 14:1
And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! Numbers 14:2
And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? Numbers 14:3
And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt. Numbers 14:4

Confession Brings Possession

.. And God gave them over to that confession. It is fearful, fearful what went on there. That is why God allows us also to go through much trial and tribulation – because it’s working faith within us. Faith is often known by what comes out of our mouth. Now that is nothing new but here we are and here I am preaching this message over 40 years and I’m still saying the same thing. God is trying to get our attention.

This isn’t untypical of how we view things. You see fear hinders our confession. And all the while there is still fear and doubt your confession will be hindered and the enemy can have access to buffet – and he does. Because it’s absolutely clear – they couldn’t hear what they were saying. That was the tragedy. Listen to what’s coming out of our mouth – we say these things at times..
