Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2:4

..So why is it we doubt – why is it we have a problem? We doubt – we have a problem – because God still has to deal with pride. Where there is pride you will still look to circumstances.. act your faith on your feelings.. Pride makes us independent of God.. stops us from.. trusting the promises of God because pride wants to be in control. When you are in total faith.. trusting God – His promises – you are out of control. Someone within you takes over.. ‘ The Just Live By Faith. ‘
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. John 1:16
Let Go And Let God
..In other words when you are in faith trusting God you let go and you let Him take over – because He lives in you and there’s no unbelief in Him. He is completely assured of His Word and His promises. That is where we should draw our strength. You cannot walk by faith in your own strength.. in your own intellect pride.. circumstances.. education.. You can only walk in faith when you let go of all those obstacles that hinder your faith. That’s what sorts out the men from the boys..
..’ I’m much happier if I can have one foot in the boat and another in the water. ‘ But you see God wasn’t going to have that for Peter..
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. Matthew 14:29
..Peter knew he had to get out of the boat and walk on the water..
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? Matthew 14:30,31
Keep Turning To Jesus
..as Peter looked again to Jesus so Jesus reached out to Him. And that’s what He does even when we take those steps of faith and feel as though we’re going under – as we turn again and look to Jesus He puts that hand out and brings us up again so that we can walk by faith and not by sight. Our faith is going to be tested.. how do you know if it’s genuine or not? But brothers and sisters there it is – ‘ of His fulness we have received.. ‘ .. .. ..
