Genesis 2:8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Fear Paralyses Faith
.. When Adam disobeys God the first thing that happens is fear enters. Remember we’re calling this teaching today ‘ The Nature Of Fear ‘ because this is what paralyses our faith and we have to again address this and look at this. I believe as God is showing me there is going to be in His mercy and grace some great deliverances for us and those that hear this teaching – for the glory of God because this is what paralyses so much of The House of God. We would be likewise if it were not for the mercy and grace of God. But for us to be delivered from fear we have to know our enemy. We have to know his tricks and what he’s up to and the traps he tries to set for us. That can only be revealed by God who exposes and opens up. Genesis 3:9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
1 John 4:s18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
.. Of course The Lord knew what had happened there. And there we find the first slaying of an animal – the shedding of blood – He has to cover their nakedness. So to atone for disobedience.. for fear that has separated us from the love of God it has to take the shedding of blood – the death of a victim. That was signifying the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world which God would provide.

God’s provision through Jesus Christ has dealt with fear in your life and my life that has paralysed us – that has caused us to compromise over these years.
