..I want to end on something that is an encouragement to us. I know God has spoken very plainly and sternly today to us. I’m very aware of it.. aware of it in my life as I was preparing this also. But turn with me if you will to the book of Joel chapter two verses twenty five to twenty seven. And this is the promise – what He’s doing. This is what’s happening now with us in the House of God.. ‘ The Power Of God Can Only Be Experienced Where The Will Of God Is Known. ‘
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.6 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. Joel 2:25-27
Thy Will Be Done
..That is what He’s doing with us brothers and sisters – He doesn’t want you put to shame.. a laughing stock.. mocked. He doesn’t want people saying ‘ they’ve gone all religious.. I knew it wouldn’t last. ‘ No, you see that doesn’t glorify God. What glorifies God is when we know the will of God and wish to do the will of God. And look what He says He will do in His mercy and compassion. That’s what He’s doing with FGA.
Restoration And Wholeness
He has set His love and His mercy upon us. ‘ That they will never be put to shame. ‘ He’s going to restore to us all that the cankerworm, the locust – everything that’s eaten away at our lives. This is our deliverance. He’s restoring to us the promises that He’s given through the atonement. So that you will enter in like the Children of Israel were to enter in to the Promised Land. So we are to enter in to these promises and eat of the land for the land is fruitful. It is plentiful, it’s a land filled with milk and honey.. He has wholeness in mind body and spirit. That is the Father’s heart to us brothers and sisters. I want to know God’s will.. .. ..
Matthew 8:1 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;6 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole. Matthew 14:34-36
But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; And charged them that they should not make him known: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. And in his name shall the Gentiles trust. Matthew 12:15-21
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:13-16
