..There are times when you find it’s just you and God. But God has made no mistake – because we walk by faith and not by sight. And God has been selecting over these years through the Word – through the Sword of the Spirit. He is selecting, He is dividing. Now those that went back – the thirty two thousand – He said those who are fearful. The first lot went back because of fear – He reduced it again unto finally three hundred. It does not mean that these are not saved. It’s just they cannot be used for what God has in the Last Days. ‘ The Word Has Been Selecting . ‘
Changed By The Word
Very often large numbers are hindrances to what God wants to do. God will very often reduce to the basic, the minimum for the very purpose in which He is glorified. And that is what God has been doing. God has been selecting by the Word – how we partake of the Word. Do we allow the Word to change us.. deliver us and wash us? And mold us to bring about that obedience and faith within us. That is what the Word – the Sword of the Spirit should do. But not all are willing to go that far.
And that is why it is the cross in our lives. Because the cross deals with the self life – the selfish life – what I want.. My rights – what is my blessings, does it sound familiar? We’ve all done it – we’re all doing it. No, the Word of God is to bring about empty vessels. That is why He is emptying us of self. We call that the Kenosis experience. It means an emptying so that we can be filled. Filled with what? The Spirit of God – the will of God so that we can be used in these last days just like Gideon – his three hundred. Why am I stressing this – because the church is on the brink of the greatest warfare she has had since Pentecost. We’re now moving towards the Latter Rain. And the church so much is in denial.. ..
