Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 2Timothy 2:15,16
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalm 27:13,14

Waiting on God is where He reveals Himself and we all of us still need to understand this. Waiting on God is absolutely imperative for the Word of God to influence through every situation. Sometimes our lives can be so hectic because we have not asked for the right things. We’re going to have to walk by faith in these closing days and it is a faith that is influenced by God’s Word as I do what He asks me to do.

Just Do It!

Whatever our situation – just do it! Don’t argue, don’t try and put up smoke screens or make excuses. If God requires this and this is what He wants just do it. And you watch, He’ll move heaven and earth to have that quality time with you because your salvation is about relationship with Him. He’s going to move heaven and earth for that relationship with you. Whatever your circumstances – whatever you’re going through, whatever your commitments.. if you want to put the kingdom first God is going to work through your situation so that you have that quality time in His presence waiting on Him where He strengthens and renews you in the inner man. We all need that.

Recharging The Batteries

Why am I stressing this as I close now? Because that world out there – the spirit of this age – will drain you dry. That’s why. It is demanding on the Christian. The world out there drains us! It fights against us – it opposes us. That world out there – everything is contrary to God – to His will – His Word. It’s a battleground! And that’s why when you come aside – when you come into His presence it’s just like balm into those wounds. Soothing, because it’s like your spiritual batteries are being recharged – for the purpose that we can walk by faith and not by sight.. ..

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 1Corinthians 1:18-31
Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence.
