Remain Faithful To The Word

Pastor Kim

..And there is the difference. They’ll try to run away or they’ll try to immigrate somewhere else – to another country. Or they’ll try to bring in supplies – enough food to last for a couple of years.. I’ve heard of this going on already. But that is in the flesh and it won’t work. It’s the Spirit that preserves and the only way that the Holy Spirit preserves us is as we remain faithful to the Word of God. ‘ Times Are Going To Get More Difficult. ‘

God’s Gift Of Faith

Sadly most Christians don’t really want the Word of God. They want the emotions – they want to feel a Christian.. to feel spiritual.. God’s presence. And there’s the problem – feelings don’t save you. It is our faith – our belief in the Word of God that is saving and delivering us – and that is the point. Our faith is a gift from God so God is going to provide for that gift that He has given us through the new birth. He’s going to provide for our spiritual growth and nourishment else we won’t survive – we’ll fall under the Beast System – all the while the Lord tarries that is.

Fed And Kept By The Word

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. John 21:15
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. John 21:16
He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. John 21:17

Twice in restoring Peter back as an Apostle He says ‘ feed my sheep ‘ and once He says ‘ tend my sheep. ‘ What does He mean by that? He simply means God’s people have to be fed. They have to be fed with God’s Word – that anointed Word to survive. You see Jesus is challenging Peter – Peter who betrayed and ran away from the Lord.. And so He challenges Him on his commitment – his love. Peter has learnt that God knows all things. They need the spiritual food – to be nourished. They need to be kept spiritually healthy and strong to be able to walk and overcome all the difficulties in this life.. ..
