The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. Psalm 145:18
..Well God brings things out into the light, but before He can bring those things out into the light He has to have His church – His people walking in that light, for He is the light of the word. At times that light will cost us because when we walk in the light we then know how to start praying. You cannot pray the prayers or faith.. the will of God if you are not walking in the light or you don’t know what that light is. And to begin to experience what this light is you begin to experience the cost that is involved. ‘ To Walk In The Light Will Cost. ‘ One saint said this:
‘ He that is not zealous against error is not likely to be zealous for truth. ‘
Zealous For Truth
One of the things that is going to cost us is that we are zealous for truth, and this is very important to grasp. That is why we are blessed, that is why we are given the Deeper Life because the Deeper Life is a revelation of truth – it is God’s Word. If you want to know truth hold the bible in your hand and you can confess. You can speak out ‘ this is truth. ‘ When the enemy is coming to try and deceive us you can hold that bible up and say ‘ this is truth – this is God’s Word. ‘ If you know the truth then the truth sets you free.
Standing On The Word
I do that sometimes, I stood once on the Word of God over a battle I was going through. When the enemy was trying to work like he does I stood on the Word of God literally. That is my belief, that is my confession. Sometimes God will make you desperate enough to do things like that when you’re in those battles. So to walk in the light will at times cost.. ..
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Ephesians 5:8
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Ephesians 5:9
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Ephesians 5:10
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Ephesians 5:11
For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. Ephesians 5:12
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Ephesians 5:13
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Ephesians 5:14
