True Relationship With God Doesn’t Depend On Flesh And Blood

Galatians 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
2 Corinthians 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

The Rest Of Faith

Pastor Kim

.. He’s faithful, otherwise it’s never going to happen. He works in us both to will and do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13) and He’s going to get you to step out in faith. He’s going to get you to stand upon these promises. This is why I say so often ‘ when you are in faith you are at rest. You are at peace because God’s presence is with you in that step of faith. ‘ If you havn’t that peace – you’re insecure, not sure, wavering – stop, get before God and wait on Him. Find out where it’s gone wrong, and it won’t take long before He’ll show you. ‘ True Relationship With God Doesn’t Depend On Flesh And Blood. ‘

Communion And Trial

.. It is a sacrifice once you take it up, and there’s no turning back. Believe me I know from experience. Remember this, whatever your cup is – sweet or bitter – drink it in communion with Him. Sometimes our cup is bitter for a season but He still says ‘ we drink this in communion ‘ because it is a deep deep work of healing and deliverance He’s doing with us. No, whatever trial you go through – no questions, no arguing with God – just look to God and allow Him to do that work.. God chose the test for Abraham, he neither protested or delayed but steadfastly looked to God and obeyed God’s will. There’s one of the finest principles to go higher with God on that spiritual mountain..

Only God To Turn To

.. Sadly so much of Christendom is running away from these trials because it’s easier to trust in the arm of the flesh. But the arm of the flesh will fail us, and aren’t we seeing that now with the great falling away. You can’t trust any of that – most of that you cannot believe now. The reason that He’s shaking the heavens and earth is to wake the church up – to wake us up – showing you can’t trust any of it. This simply throws us on the Word of God and the promises of God’s Word – that we hear from God. All of this as I bring this to a close is so that He influences our will, because we’re not going to do it otherwise.. .. ..

Genesis 22:1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
