What Are You Doing Today? | Thy Will Be Done | Video

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 for he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Hebrews 3:15 while it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

By Faith And Not By Sight

What Are You Doing Today
Pastor Kim

.. What you do, what you plan and so on – you will boast in it.. and it doesn’t give God the glory. That is what always happens when we are in control – planning and scheming for our future. That is pride and arrogance. You have not learnt that you may not be on this earth by tomorrow. It’s foolish isn’t it, and yet we do it. Are you trying to work out what God is going to do? He’s never going to tell you. You know it’s very clear where He reveals Himself in The Word that He’s capable of doing everything, but He’s not going to reveal to you how He’s going to do it because you walk by faith and not by sight.. ‘ What Are You Doing Today? ‘

Seeking God’s Will For Today

.. We’re all coming to that place aren’t we where we’re no longer surprised what He does and my advice to everyone is ‘ don’t have your schedule too full. ‘ Whatever you have in your diary you are aware that God has gone before, and His blessing is upon it because you’ve waited upon Him about it. And yet we commit ourselves – we get so involved with things, and then we wonder why it’s not blessed and it doesn’t happen. You see God is going to more and more show you His will – what He has for you today. That is why we’re calling this teaching ‘ What Are You Doing Today? ‘ You could answer ‘ I’m seeking God’s will for this day. ‘ That would be a good answer..

Going Out Not Knowing Where

.. That would be an answer that would please God’s heart, but we’re not always in that place are we. We can get so drawn away – so involved. You see our life is to be like Abraham’s, it should be a continual going out each day. Our going out each day is because we see Jesus there. It always starts by not knowing where you are going. That is the best way because that stops you from trying to work it out. This is the walk He’s teaching us. And of course we are completely reliant upon Him because we know we can’t do this of ourselves. This is why He’s empowered us by The Spirit to be able to walk like this.. .. ..

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
James 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
