Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. Hebrews 4:1
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. Hebrews 4:2
For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Hebrews 4:3
..The bible makes it absolutely clear that man can have a hard heart. The world out there has a hard heart. It’s an unregenerate heart because their father is the Devil. The Word of God’s absolutely clear on that. So we’re beginning to get an idea aren’t we – ‘ What Are You Mixing With Your Faith ? ‘
A Test Of Faith
There is so much going on now – there’s so much being exposed. We’re seeing a world government coming forth now.. seeing whole systems now getting ready for the Antichrist to take over and control it all. We’re seeing it fulfilled before our very eyes. So this is a testing for us brothers and sisters – what are you mixing with your faith with all that you’re hearing and seeing.. ?
Trials Work For The Good
That is why we have to withdraw from this at times, particularly at the moment with what is going on. We’re all finding this lockdown a trial at times, but actually it could be a blessing. This could be a time when we could really get alone with the Lord and begin to listen to what He’s saying. So we can turn that negative into the positive. It’s what we want in our hearts at the end of the day.
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, Ephesians 3:17
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; Ephesians 3:18
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Ephesians 3:19
Christ Indwelling By Faith
So our faith to believe – it’s absolutely essential isn’t it that Christ dwells within us. This dwelling means we stay with it – we don’t run away. We don’t look to substitutes or alternatives which sadly a lot of professing Christendom does. We don’t need to if you take verse seventeen as it says ‘ That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith. ‘ For that experience it is very important what is being mixed.. ..Pastor Kim L. Page
