Will You Come To Me 2 | Two Wills In Conflict | Video

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Psalm 91:2

..But do we walk like that – are we trusting like that. Do we know this experientially ? Do we know that He is our refuge and our fortress? That we can walk in this life overcoming? Overcoming the Powers Of Darkness – the very Devil himself? ‘ Will You Come To Me 2. ‘

The problem is with a lot of professing believers the Devil has come in like an angel of light – because they don’t respond in obedience to that simple word ‘ come, come to me, come and see, come and experience. Why do you resist? Why do you not respond? ‘ We are at times our own worst enemy. You know we can blame the Devil for a lot of things and yes he’s very active, but we too often can be our own worst enemy. And there we are, Psalm 91 is all on that basis of dwelling – abiding with Him in His presence. Turning back to the Gospel Of John – John chapter eight verses thirty one and thirty two:

Will You Come To Me?(2)

Drinking The Word

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; John 8:31
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
Will You Come To Me (2)

There is the sign of God’s Word – the power of His Word. Is the Word of God setting you free? That is the question. Not setting you free to go and do your own thing – to build your own empire. Not at all, it’s a freedom that comes as you obey your heavenly Father. It is experiencing the Father’s delight in your heart. And He says ‘ abide in My Word – and you are my disciples indeed. ‘ So there it is again, when you take the Word of God seriously and you drink of this Word as a wise overcomer, that is a sign that you abide in God. Because you want to hear His Word. You’re paying the cost to hear His Word.. ..
